Robert (Beau) E. Blumberg
is a partner with Deutsch Blumberg & Caballero P.A., where he practices personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability law. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle districts of Florida. Mr. Blumberg is a member of The Florida Bar (member, Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration Committee 2017-2023; member, Code & Rules of Evidence Committee 2023-2026; chair, Standing Committee on Technology 2021-2022; Grievance Committee “A” Member, 2020-2023). He is appointed to the Florida Courts Technology Commission by the Florida Supreme Court 2022-2024, Board of Directors of the Miami Dade Bar 2022-2025, Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers Section of the Miami Dade Bar Association 2020-2024 and president of the MDB YLS 2023-2024. Mr. Blumberg earned his B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. degree from the William and Mary School of Law. In his free time, he travels and practices Ashtanga Yoga.

Jason D. Lazarus
is the founder and chief executive officer of Synergy Settlement Services. Synergy offers healthcare lien resolution, Medicare Secondary Payer compliance services, and complex settlement consulting. He is also the managing partner and founder of the Special Needs Law Firm, a Florida law firm that provides legal services related to public benefit preservation, liens and Medicare Secondary Payer compliance. Mr. Lazarus is an Amazon best-selling author and his book, Art of Settlement, is a detailed guide for trial lawyers related to regulatory compliance when resolving catastrophic claims. His written work has been cited as authoritative on Medicare compliance, by the Supreme Court of Florida and the United States Southern District of Florida. Mr. Lazarus earned his B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida, his J.D. degree, with high honors, from Florida State University and his LL.M. degree in elder law, with distinction, from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Lazarus is a Medicare Set Aside Consultant (MSCC) certified by the International Commission on Health Care Certification.

Rasa Fumagalli
is an Illinois licensed attorney and the director of MSP compliance services for Synergy Settlement Services. She and her team provide plaintiff attorneys with initial consultations to address any Medicare Secondary Payer compliance issues that may arise in connection with their clients' personal injury or workers' compensation cases. Prior to joining Synergy Settlement Services, Ms. Fumagalli worked as a workers' compensation insurance defense attorney in the Chicago area. She has spent the last ten years focusing her practice on Medicare Secondary Payer compliance issues. As the former director and VP of MSP compliance for a national vendor, Ms. Fumagalli has extensive experience in working with parties to effectuate settlements while addressing Medicare's interests in a reasonable manner. Her knowledge, experience and passion for navigating the intricacies of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act, supporting regulations and CMS, allow her to provide valuable and pragmatic guidance in all stages of settlement discussions.

Michele M. Feeney
is the founder of Michele M. Feeney LLC. Her practice is exclusively mediation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. She formerly litigated cases in the areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, and other tort litigation. Ms. Feeney earned her B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and her J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame. She is a member (former chair) of the executive committee of the Arizona State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution section. She also serves as the Director of Trial Advocacy at the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law at Arizona State University.

Annie M. Davidson
is the Vice President of Client Success for ExamWorks Compliance Solutions (ECS). Ms. Davidson has comprehensive experience in the areas of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Act compliance and Medicaid recovery in liability, no-fault, and workers' compensation matters. She is the chief client voice at ECS and works collaboratively with clients, industry partners, and leaders at all levels to identify and execute on short- and long-term goals to ensure ECS is meeting and exceeding the needs of clients. In her previous role as Senior MSP Compliance Counsel and Policy Strategist at ECS, Ms. Davidson provided high-quality legal analysis to ensure the integrity and quality of ECS' MSP compliance services and related products. Ms. Davidson is a nationally recognized expert on MSP issues who presents regularly at local and national conferences. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota and the United States District Court for Minnesota. Prior to her work with ECS, she practiced as an insurance defense litigator with a Minneapolis law firm. In that position, Ms. Davidson gained significant experience handling workers' compensation, liability, and no-fault cases and coordinated the firm's policies for handling Medicare requirements. She serves as Treasurer of National MSP Network, co-chairs its Policy and Legislative Committee, and actively participates on the Annual Conference Planning Committee and the Communications' Podcast Committee. Ms. Davidson graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. In her free time, Ms. Davidson serves as President of the Board of Directors for a comprehensive non-profit mental health and human services organization, and practices meditation and Pilates.

William Kenneth C. Dippel
formed his own plaintiffs' firm in 1994, specializing in product liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability. From 1994 to present, the vast majority of his work has been representing families who have suffered catastrophic injuries, although the firm is occasionally called upon to represent select defendants in unique trial circumstances. Mr. Dippel's former employment experience includes work at the Dallas defense firm of Strasburger and Price from 1983 to 1994, where he progressed from associate to full equity partner. The focus of his work was as regional counsel in defending high stakes product liability litigation for automotive and other manufacturers. He earned his B.S. degree, cum laude, from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Dippel began publishing his legal works while still in law school and has continued to the present. In 1996, he became board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law. Mr. Dippel also holds an "AV" rating in Martindale-Hubbell signifying "very high to preeminent legal ability," as well as the highest possible ranking for ethics. In 2004 and successive years, he was selected as one of the "Preeminent Lawyers" in the U.S. While his practice focuses in all counties of Texas, Mr. Dippel also has practiced in jurisdictions around the country, and has actively been involved in litigation in California, Washington State, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Tennessee and Florida. He has recently been admitted to the Third Circuit and Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Mr. Dippel also negotiated one of the larger Texas premises liability settlements. His client has appeared on Good Morning America, NBC Dateline, and other national media programs, to educate sexual assault victims and encourage reporting of these crimes. He was also trial co-counsel in one of the first premature deployment airbag cases tried, a 23 million dollar verdict. Mr. Dippel is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice and College of the State Bar of Texas. He has lectured at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association "Advanced Products Liability" course, the State Bar of Texas "Advanced Personal Injury" seminar, and the State Bar College Spring Training School.
