Speaker bio
W. Shane Jennings
is an attorney with The Law Office of W. Shane Jennings. He has 3 offices, two full-time attorneys, and one of-counsel. His practice centers around Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Mr. Jennings earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He also attended law school at South Texas College of Law where he focused on Texas civil and appellate law. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico and the State Bar of Texas. He has been a member of New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and is currently a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, The Texas Litigation Section, and The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Jennings is admitted to practice in New Mexico, Texas, and the United States District Court of New Mexico. He has an honorary degree from the University of Seville in Seville Spain. He is currently being added as a 2024 speaker at vents on United States Constitutional Law. He is also a member of the Texas Bar College, a Professional Society of Legal Scholars. Finally, he is a Super Lawyers Selectee 2024.

Barry M. Snyder
is the owner of The Law Office of Barry M. Snyder, P.A. He has more than 40 years of litigation experience focusing in the fields of personal injury, wrongful death, and criminal defense. Mr. Snyder is a board certified civil trial lawyer, mediator and qualified arbitrator. He is also a NBTA certified trial lawyer. Mr. Snyder is AV rated with Martindale-Hubbel and voted Top Lawyers in Florida, Super Lawyer, and National Trial Lawyer’s Top 100 Civil Plaintiff. He is admitted to practice in Florida, as well as federal court (Southern, Middle and Northern districts). Mr. Snyder is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association; committee member of the Miami-Dade Branch of Professionalism for Attorneys; past guest speaker at University of Miami Law School, St. Thomas Law School, and Miami-Dade College; and is a trial consultant with Trial Consultants Inc. He is also a former past president of the North Dade Bar Association. Mr. Snyder earned his B.A. degree from the University of Miami and his J.D. degree from the University of New Hampshire Law School (Franklin Pierce Law Center).

James J. Mahon
is an attorney with Becker. He concentrates his practice on criminal and civil tax controversies, white collar criminal matters, and civil litigation. Mr. Mahon represents clients facing criminal charges in state and federal courts, individuals under government investigation, and taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation. His commercial litigation practice includes banking, ERISA benefits and contributions, and securities matters. Mr. Mahon has successfully represented clients subject to claims involving professional malpractice, labor and employment disputes, tax shelters, property allocation, matrimonial disputes, probate disputes, and disputes arising out of the misappropriation of databases and trade secrets. He serves as a mediator to the commercial part of the New York State Supreme Court, New York County. Mr. Mahon's practice also includes federal and state taxpayer representation in criminal and civil cases, business fraud, and other white-collar defense work. He has represented clients before various state and federal agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, SEC, NASD, EEOC and NLRB. Mr. Mahon earned his B.A. degree from College of the Holy Cross and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, New York State Courts, United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third circuits, United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, United States District Court for the District of Vermont, United States Tax Court and United States Court of Claims.

Samantha A. Lesser
is an attorney in Becker's Litigation, Tax Controversy and Corporate practices. Her experience includes jury trials, arbitration, tax procedure issues, assisting delinquent taxpayers, and motion practice. Ms. Lesser also has experience with corporate transactions such as reverse mergers, private placements, IPOs, Regulation D matters, SPAC, and VIE Structures. Additionally, she has investigated FINRA matters dealing with the Statutory Disqualification of Broker Dealers. Ms. Lesser earned her J.D. degree and her LL.M. degree in tax from New York Law School, and her B.S. degree from Syracuse University. She is admitted to practice in the New Jersey and New York, United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern districts, and United States Tax Court.
