He has been a certified specialist in family law since 2002, and has served as a pro tem judge and mediator in family law for the Maricopa County Superior Court. Mr. Richard's practice focuses almost exclusively on handling complex family law/domestic relations matters of all types, including divorce, legal separation, annulments, paternity, child custody and visitation; and various post-divorce matters such as modification and enforcement of child custody/visitation, modification and enforcement of child support and spousal maintenance; enforcement of judgments and decrees; and relocation of children. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Richard earned his J.D. degree, with distinction, from the University of Arizona College of Law. Mr. Richard is an adjunct professor at ASU college of Law and was family law attorney of the year in 2019 for Arizona.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
