Speaker bio
Lee B. Brumitt
is a director and shareholder with the law firm of Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Brumitt, P.C, where he has practiced law since 1984. His law practice focuses on construction law and litigation. Mr. Brumitt is a regular advocate for general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and specialty contractors, and also represents owners and design professionals on public, commercial and residential projects. He reviews and advises on construction contracts, consults with contractors on legal issues arising during projects, and is involved in all varieties of construction claims including, but not limited to defect, contract performance, mechanic's lien, bond, retainage, prompt payment, and change order claims. Mr. Brummit earned his B.S. degree from Central Methodist College and his J.D. degree from Drake University.

Matthew D. Menghini
is a partner with the Chesterfield, Missouri law firm of McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, L.C. He concentrates his practice almost exclusively on construction matters. Mr. Menghini represents contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and manufacturers in a wide variety of complex matters, and represents many of the larger prime contractors in the St. Louis area. His practice is about evenly split between contract preparation and negotiation, day to day dispute resolution, and litigation and ADR proceedings. Mr. Menghini has extensive experience in handling delay claims, changed conditions claims, change order disputes, defect claims, payment disputes, and mechanic's lien and payment bond claims. Mr. Menghini received his J.D. degree from Washington University.

Colin M. Quinn
is an attorney at Long & Robinson, LLC, where he practices in the area of construction law. Mr. Quinn reviews, drafts, and negotiates project agreements; advises clients facing litigation; and assists in dispute resolution. He is a member of the Kansas, Missouri, and Texas bars. Mr. Quinn earned his B.S. degree from Kansas State University and his J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law.
