Speaker bio
Lindsay A. Dischley
is a partner at CSG Law and practice group leader of the employment department. She represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, retaliation, and wage and hour claims in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, and before federal, state and local administrative agencies, including the EEOC, New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, New York State Division of Human Rights, and New York City Commission on Human Rights. Ms. Dischley also counsels human resources professionals, general counsel and business owners in all aspects of employment law, including leaves of absence, accommodations, cannabis, wage and hour law requirements, prevailing wage, employment and separation agreements, restrictive covenants, the implementation of employment policies, employee training programs, and other employment issues. Furthermore, she conducts internal workplace investigations for employers on employment-related issues, such as claims of harassment and discrimination, and provides trainings to employees, such as sensitivity and anti-harassment training. Ms. Dischley earned her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Loyola University Maryland and her J.D. degree from Fordham University Law School, where she was a member of the Urban Law Journal and the Moot Court Board, and participated in the Family Law Clinic. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, and a board member of Girls on the Run of New Jersey East. Ms. Dischley is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York, and before the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; and U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern districts of New York.

Ralph R. Smith, III
is a shareholder and co-chair of the labor and employment group of Capehart & Scatchard, P.A. He focuses his practice in employment litigation and preventative employment practices, including counseling employers on the creation of employment policies, non-compete and trade secret agreements, and training employers to avoid employment-related litigation. Mr. Smith represents both companies and individuals in related complex commercial litigation before federal state courts and administrative agencies in labor and employment cases; including race, gender, age, national origin, disability and workplace harassment and discrimination matters, wage-and-hour disputes, restrictive covenants, grievances, arbitrations, drug testing, and employment-related contract issues. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
