, a shareholder with Weld Riley, S.C., has represented clients in the areas of lawyer ethics and professional responsibility for more than 35 years. He has represented attorneys in matters before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Office of Lawyer Regulation, and consults with law firms and lawyers regularly regarding compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct. Mr. Dietrich has served as chair of the State Bar Committee on Professional Ethics, in addition to past service on the committee appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to review changes to the Wisconsin Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys. He is a member of the ABA's Center for Professional Responsibility and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Mr. Dietrich currently serves as president of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Marquette University Law School.

He is the City Attorney for the City of Cudahy; Village Attorney for the Village of Dousman, Village of Fox Point, Village of North Bay, Village of North Prairie, Village of Pleasant Prairie, Village of Reeseville, Village of Rochester, Village of Slinger, Village of Wind Point; and Town Attorney for the Town of Ashippun, Town of Aztalan, Town of Coldspring, Town of Christiana, Town of Delafield, Town of Genesee, Town of Jefferson, Town of Lake Mills, Town of Lowell, Town of Ottawa, and Town of Troy; and he assists in the firm’s representation of approximately 40 additional municipal entities. Mr. Larson serves as special counsel to numerous other municipal entities throughout Wisconsin. Mr. Larson has practiced municipal law in Minnesota (admitted 1990) and Wisconsin (admitted 1994), first in-house as an assistant county attorney, and in private municipal practice since 1994. Mr. Larson is a regular speaker at the annual meetings of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities Municipal Attorneys Institute (of which he served as President in 2023-2024) and the Wisconsin Towns Association Town Attorneys Institute. His recognitions include “Leader in the Law” Award from the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2015; “Super Lawyer” Award from Thompson Reuters Super Lawyer magazine, multiple years annually to date; and “Notable Nonprofit Board Leader” Award from Milwaukee BizTimes (2023). Mr. Larson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and Earlham College.

serves as the general counsel/city attorney for the City of Valparaiso, where he oversees and manages resolution of legal matters affecting the city. He develops, plans, organizes and implements the economic development objectives of the city and its redevelopment commission, including business attraction/retention and incentive programs. Mr. Lyp is a former adjunct professor at Valparaiso University School of Law, where he taught business drafting. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the Catholic University of America and his J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Lyp is a member of the Porter County and Indiana State bar associations. He is licensed to practice in both Indiana and Illinois state and federal courts.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
