is a board-certified civil trial lawyer at Tom Riley Law Firm PLC, where he has practiced since graduating from law school in 1996. He practices in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, professional negligence/malpractice, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation. In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Weston regularly speaks to lawyers' groups on litigation and trial issues, insurance law and other subjects. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Iowa and his J.D. degree from Drake University School of Law.

Arie Spitz

is a member of the litigation department of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. He has successfully tried cases on behalf of both defendants and plaintiffs on claims including breach of contract, negligence, products liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Spitz has successfully represented employers in a wide variety of matters, including claims of deliberate intent, sexual harassment, ERISA benefits coverage, and retaliation claims under the West Virginia Patient Safety Act. His diverse experience, both in terms of the types of cases he handles as well as the clients that he assists, gives him unique insight when it comes to litigating and trying cases. Mr. Spitz has practiced before West Virginia's federal and state trial courts, as well as the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Illinois and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Penn State.

is managing partner of Kramer & Connolly, litigating throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. A former law professor who continues to publish and to lecture nationally on legal ethics, trial advocacy and evidence, Mr. Kramer specializes in the defense of his fellow attorneys in disciplinary and professional malpractice cases. Combined with significant trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, his law firm management experience lends an appreciation for the pressures of law practice and for the ethical issues confronting attorneys on a daily basis. Appointed by his state’s highest court to serve on its rules committee, Mr. Kramer serves with a select group of judges, legislators and attorneys in revising court rules, including those governing the practice of law. A member of the Maryland State Bar and District of Columbia Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Towson University; his J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Maryland; and his LL.M. degree from Columbia University.

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.

Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives a special discount off of their total tuition.
