is the founder of Toussaint Law, PLLC. She is a passionate litigator with a strong knowledge in criminal defense, family law, and education law. Ms. Toussaint advocates for children and youth with special needs in both the school system and the juvenile justice system. As a criminal defense lawyer, she defends individuals accused of felonies, misdemeanors, and youth involved in the juvenile criminal justice system. In addition, Ms. Toussaint represents unwed fathers in custody, paternity, and child support matters, and protected the rights and property of her clients that were going through the difficult journey of divorce. She is a former educator and school administrator and has served as a guardian ad litem in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Toussaint is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar. Ms. Toussaint earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida; and her J.D. degree from the University of Florida Fredric Levin College of Law. In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
