Speaker bio
Alex More
is an attorney with Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P., where he works primarily in the securities and corporate governance sections. He has particular experience representing and advising directors of publicly traded companies and litigating fraud claims. Mr. More also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial disputes through all stages of litigation. Before becoming a lawyer, he spent over a decade participating in, and teaching, competitive interscholastic debate at the highest levels. Mr. More excels at the art of argument, developing and executing nuanced litigation strategies. He earned both his B.A. degree, with honors, and his J.D. degree from the University of Texas. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and Dallas Urban Debate Alliance.
