Speaker bio
Okyeame Haley
is an attorney with his own private practice, the Haley Law Practice. He practices in the areas of trust and estate planning, and business formation. Mr. Haley is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, ElderCounsel, and WealthCounsel. He received his bachelor's degree in finance from Xavier University of Louisiana, his J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law and his LL.M. degree from Washington University School of Law. Mr. Haley was chief deputy clerk for the Louisiana Supreme Court, research attorney on the U.S. House of Representatives Banking and Finance Committee, and a law clerk for Orleans Parish Civil District Court Judge Angelique Reed. He is also a retired law clerk for Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson. Mr. Haley is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and recently completed the Goldman Sachs 10 thousand business entrepreneurship program.

Dianna D. Murphy
is the associate dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Morehead State University, and professor in the nationally ranked legal studies program. Her research is in legal ethics relevant to estate practice, remote access, and access to justice. Ms. Murphy is a licensed attorney who earned her J.D. degree and her B.A. degree in philosophy from the University of Kentucky.

E. Dale Searcy
is a Professor of Law Emeritus at the University of Dayton School of Law, where he has taught for more than 30 years, specializing in income tax, estate and gift tax, wills and trusts, and estate planning. Professor Searcy has advised the Tax Moot Court teams and the Phi Delta Phi legal professional fraternity, and founded and advised the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The law school student body has selected him Professor of the Year ten times. Since retiring from full-time teaching, Professor Searcy has consulted for lawyers. He earned his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute, his J.D. degree from Indiana University and his LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University.
