Rachel V. Rose
, JD, MBA, successfully advises and represents clients on healthcare, cybersecurity, securities, qui tam compliance, transactional litigation, and government enforcement matters. She is an affiliated member with the Baylor College of Medicine's Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy, where she teaches bioethics. Ms. Rose is often quoted as an expert. In addition to being extensively published and a sought-after presenter and quoted expert, she holds an M.B.A. degree, with minors in healthcare and entrepreneurship, from Vanderbilt University; and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated with various honors, including the National Scribes Award. Ms. Rose also attained a certificate in negotiation and leadership from Harvard University. She is licensed in Texas, and is a fellow of the Federal Bar Association. Currently, Ms. Rose serves as a director on the FBA's National Board. She is a member of and the immediate past chair of the Federal Bar Association's Government Relations Committee, member of the Advisory Board of the Federal Bar Association's Qui Tam Section, co-editor of the American Health Lawyers Association's Enterprise Risk Management Handbook for Healthcare Entities (2nd Edition), and a co-author of the ABA's books The ABCs of ACOs and What Are International HIPAA Considerations? Ms. Rose is extensively published and presents on a variety of matters related to her practice. She has been named consecutively to the Texas Bar College, National Women Trial Lawyers Association's Top 25, Houstonia Magazine's Top Lawyers (healthcare law), National Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100 and The Nation's Top One Percent. Ms. Rose was awarded 1st Healthcare Compliance's 2019 and 2022 Top Presenter Award. In 2023, she was selected for Super Lawyers (healthcare). is a partner with Mickey, Wilson, Weiler, Renzi, Lenert & Julien, P.C. in Sugar Grove, Illinois, where she concentrates in municipal law, school law, civil litigation and labor and employment law. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, National Council of School Attorneys, Illinois Local Government Lawyers Assocation (member of Professional Development Committee) and Illinois Council of School Attorneys. Ms. Julien earned her undergraduate, with honors, from University of Wisconsin; and her J.D. degree from University of Notre Dame Law School.

Mary Donne Peters
, one of the founders and a partner at Gorby Peters & Associates, LLC, represents high-growth, closely held companies, often serving as outside general counsel or privacy counsel. Ms. Donne Peters served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of South Carolina; as honors attorney for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Justice Department; and as a law clerk for a federal appeals court judge (Hon. Emory Sneeden, Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals), before entering private practice. She is a frequent lecturer for legal and business groups, and chairs a litigation seminar for the Institute of Continuing Education in Georgia (now a division of the State Bar of Georgia). Ms. Donne Peters is the author of Expert Testimony in Georgia, published by Thomson Reuters®. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Ms. Donne Peters is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.

Michael J. Gorby
is a founder and partner with Gorby Peters & Associates, LLC. He is a nationally recognized leader in complex corporate disputes, professional negligence cases, and liability issues that arise for property owners and managers, such as hotel chains, restaurants, shopping centers, apartment complexes, office buildings and other public venues. Since 1998, Mr. Gorby has served as the program chair for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia (an affiliate of the University of Georgia), on the topic of premises liability. He is also the author of a popular legal treatise, Premises Liability in Georgia, which is published by Thomson Reuters/West, and which is now in its third edition. Mr. Gorby serves as an instructor/lecturer for Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center (GTPAC) in the area of procuring government contracts, and is also a registered mediator. He earned his B.A. degree from Georgia State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Paul Walker
is a law clerk at Gorby Peters Law. He is a currently a third-year law student at Georgia State University College of Law and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2024. Mr. Walker works as a graduate research assistant in Georgia State University’s Law Library where he performs legal research projects for law professors. Before law school, he graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in Finance. While at the University of Georgia, Mr. Walker interned at the UGA Family Justice Clinic, where he assisted victims of domestic violence obtain temporary protective orders.
