Speaker bio
Anthony A. Sheffy
is the founding partner of Sheffy, DeNigris, Grey & Bedard, LLP which is located centrally in Southington, Connecticut. He has taken jury verdicts in state and federal court recovering substantial compensation for families, including those whose lives have been dramatically altered by a sudden death or brain injury, as well as on behalf of Lloyd's of London, Omni and other insurers. Mr. Sheffy has written and lectured on topics ranging from the fundamentals of presenting civil jury cases to advanced evidence techniques for attorneys experienced in the courtroom. He has been honored as a member of the Order of Justitia in the Litigation Counsel of America; a fellow of the American Bar Foundation; designated as a Top 100 Lawyers in America; and designated as a Super Lawyer in Connecticut since 2011. Mr. Sheffy earned his B.S. degree in combined music and physics from Lebanon Valley College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England School of Law. He is admitted to the bar for Connecticut state courts and the Federal District Court for the state of Connecticut.

Christine Hummel
is the president and founder of Hummel Consultation Services, a national legal consultation practice specializing in the application of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act to workers' compensation, liability and no-fault cases. She is an active attorney with licensure in the state of Colorado. With more than 19 years of experience in Medicare compliance, Ms. Hummel is a published author and popular speaker on a wide array of topics related to Medicare compliance. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law Section) and the Colorado Bar Association. Ms. Hummel's legal experience work includes Medicaid, probate and elder law. She donates a significant amount of time volunteering with the Federal Park Service, giving presentations on the roles of women during the American War of Independence. Ms. Hummel earned her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

Steven J. Errante
is a partner in the New Haven law firm of Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante, P.C., where his practice is devoted to civil litigation, with a special emphasis on personal injury. He served as an adjunct professor of legal studies at the University of New Haven, and is currently an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac School of Law. Mr. Errante is editor-at-large of the Connecticut Bar Journal. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (member, Executive Committee of the Litigation Section). Mr. Errante is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, New York Trial Lawyers Association, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University; and his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

William J. Delaney
is a member of Lonardo Forte & Trudeau LLP. He is a lifetime fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation, as well as a fellow of the American Bar Association. Mr. Delaney is a member of the Rhode Island Supreme Court's MCLE Committee; and the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York State, Pennsylvania and Connecticut bar associations. He earned his A.B. degree from the University of Notre Dame, his M.B.A. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his J.D. degree from Albany Law School of Union University, and his LL.M. degree from the Morin Center, Boston University School of Law.
