Christopher Karlen
is a partner in the St. Louis law firm of Growe Eisen Karlen Eilerts, where his areas of practice include an emphasis on family law, including dissolutions of marriage, legal separations, adoptions, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Mr. Karlen is admitted to practice in Missouri. He is a member of St. Louis County Bar Association and The Missouri Bar. Mr. Karlen earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati; and his J.D. degree from Washington University. He frequently lectures in the area of family law.

Tashina M. Gorgone
is a partner with Maddox & Gerock, P.C., in Falls Church, Virginia. She focuses her practice in the areas of family law and appellate litigation. Ms. Gorgone handles all areas of family law, from custody to child support to property distribution. Ms. Gorgone has particular experience and interest in complex custody cases. She has handled cases involving allegations of domestic violence, substance abuse, and sexual abuse. Ms. Gorgone has successfully litigated relocation cases as well as assisted both mothers and fathers in obtaining shared or primary custody of their children. To her, the most rewarding aspect of practicing law is the challenge of problem-solving; and she strives to help families develop and effectuate a plan that will not only address their immediate needs, but provide them with peace of mind for the future. Ms. Gorgone is adept at determining what cases are ripe for alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation or settlement conferences, however, when a case must be tried in court, she is able to effectively and comprehensively prepare and deliver strong oral advocacy on behalf of her client and their family. She graduated from The University of Mary Washington with a B.A. degree, and obtained her J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law with a concentration in litigation. While attending George Mason, Ms. Gorgone was an active member of the Moot Court Team, where she won first place in the Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition. She also served as a notes editor on the George Mason Law Review, and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association. Ms. Gorgone is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She is an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Fairfax County Bar Association, and serves on the Board for the Northern Virginia Women's Attorney Association. Ms. Gorgone also has volunteers as a judge for local law school mock trial events, hosts courtroom tours for Fairfax County middle school students, and speaks at local middle schools about the legal profession. In 2017, she was named by Super Lawyers as a Virginia Rising Star in the practice area of family law, and she has remained a Rising Star each year since.

Hon. Jeanette A. Irby
is a retired Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She is currently managing director of Juridical Solutions PLC, where she mediates family law disputes which are most suited to alternative dispute resolution. Judge Irby is experienced in all areas of civil litigation, including complex business disputes, divorce (equitable distribution, spousal support and custody), and personal injury claims. Before going on the bench, she practiced law with her primary focus on domestic relations. Judge Irby earned her B.S. degree from Central Michigan University and her J.D. degree from Thomas W. Cooley Law School.

Kristin D. Siegel
is an attorney with Siegel & Irwin LLC, a family law attorney she is known to be a zealous advocate for her clients. She truly cares about her clients and their situations and strives to establish relationships with her clients that lasts years, even after the case is done. By fervently advocating for her clients, Ms. Siegel appreciates seeing how her clients' lives improve in the aftermath. She graduated with honors from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and then obtained her law degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Law School. While there, Ms. Siegel interned in the Domestic Unit of Legal Aid of Western Missouri; clerked for a local Kansas City law firm that focused on domestic law matters; and worked for several non-profit organizations, including Mother's Refuge, a homeless shelter for pregnant teens; and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City. She has attended the associate program for the AAML twice and assisted with two appellate cases under Anita Rodarte. Mentored by one of the best family law attorneys in Missouri and member of the AAML, Anita Rodarte, Ms. Siegel accredits her success to Ms. Rodarte's mentorship, as well as the family court commissioner, the Honorable Sherrill Rosen. She is a member of the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association, Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, and The Missouri Bar's Family Law Section. Ms. Siegel is admitted to practice in Missouri.

T. Kevin Knight
is a partner in the law offices of DSK Law. He is board-certified as a trial lawyer by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Over the course of his practice, Mr. Knight has generally focused on personal injury litigation. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida; and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law.
