Speaker bio
Alyssa Baskam
is a principal attorney in Beasley Allen's Atlanta office. She represents catastrophically injured individuals and families of individuals who were killed through the negligence of others. Ms. Baskam's practice focuses primarily on litigation involving defective products, particularly automobiles and workplace machinery, trucking litigation, and other cases involving catastrophic injury or wrongful death. Before joining Beasley Allen in 2019, she represented individuals and families in product liability suits, trucking suits, liability suits, and other cases stemming from individual negligence. Ms. Baskam has also represented victims of rape and sexual assault. She is licensed to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern districts of Georgia. Ms. Baskam earned her J.D. degree at Emory Law School.

Miranda N. Hanley
is a partner with Smith Welch Webb & White LLC. She has a litigation practice specializing in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation and complex civil litigation. Ms. Hanley has extensive trial and jury trial experience, and regularly litigates in both state and federal courts. She has also worked on numerous appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Hanley earned her B.A. degree from Kennesaw State University and her J.D. degree from Faulkner University, Jones School of Law.

Joshua C. Offenhartz
is an attorney with Kahana Feld. He is a business attorney who represents clients in the finance, medical, construction, real estate and culinary industries. Mr. Offenhartz has significant experience managing all phases of litigation, including preliminary investigations, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, motions for summary judgment, trial and appeals. Additionally, he serves as outside counsel for several small, medium and growing businesses that need day-to-day legal advice for their growing companies. Mr. Offenhartz is a member of Madison School District's Financial Advisory Board and a board member of the Desert States Region of Jewish National Fund. He supports the Phoenix Art Museum as a member of the Men's Art Council, and helps others by volunteering with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Arizona, Saint Mary's Food Bank and the Wounded Warrior Project. Mr. Offenhartz earned his B.S. degree in public administration from the University of Arizona, and his master's and J.D. degrees from Arizona State University. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona; Southern District Court, District of Arizona; and Southern Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
