Beth Bernstein
is a special partner with the law firm of Pugh Accardo LLC. Her practice focuses on the defense of employers and insurance carriers under the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act. Ms. Bernstein represents multiple national insurance companies in addition to local companies in Louisiana. She earned her B.A. degree and her M.A. degree from Tulane University, and her J.D. degree from Tulane Law School. Ms. Bernstein is a member of the American, Louisiana State and New Orleans bar associations.

Glenn S. Sinko
is the co-founder of Sinko Zimmerman, LLC, where he focuses his practice on workers' compensation law; Social Security law; small business; and estate planning, trusts, and probate with an emphasis on the needs of disabled individuals. He is a frequent lecturer for various organizations. Mr. Sinko served as an Allegheny County Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section Council member and recently as its chairman. He earned his B.A. degree from Lehigh University and his J.D. degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Jim Backenson
is a managing partner in the Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers LLP's New Jersey office. His practice is dedicated to the defense of workers' compensation claims. In addition to litigating claims, Mr. Backenson provides a full spectrum of legal, consulting and risk management services to both insured and self-insured clients of the firm and third party administrators. He earned his B.S. degree from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and his J.D. degree from The Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. Mr. Backenson is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Patrick J. Nemes
is an associate of Golden, Rothschild, Spagnola, Lundell, Boylan, Garubo & Bell, P.C. and concentrates his practice in workers' compensation. He represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims. Mr. Nemes earned his B.A. degree in history from Coastal Carolina University his J.D. degree from Roger Williams School of Law. While in law school, he was the vice president of the Environmental Law Society, third-year student representative of the Student Bar Association, and member of the Student Honor Board. Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Mr. Nemes worked as an associate defending employers and their carriers against workers' compensation claims throughout New Jersey. He also managed medical provider claims for hospitals and physicians through arbitration, trial, and the Independent Health Care Appeals Program. Mr. Nemes is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Christine Hummel
is the president and founder of Hummel Consultation Services, a national legal consultation practice specializing in the application of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act to workers' compensation, liability and no-fault cases. She is an active attorney with licensure in the state of Colorado. With more than 19 years of experience in Medicare compliance, Ms. Hummel is a published author and popular speaker on a wide array of topics related to Medicare compliance. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law Section) and the Colorado Bar Association. Ms. Hummel's legal experience work includes Medicaid, probate and elder law. She donates a significant amount of time volunteering with the Federal Park Service, giving presentations on the roles of women during the American War of Independence. Ms. Hummel earned her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Miami and her J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Ms. Isaacs is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Workers' Compensation Section. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida.
