Mark D. Tolman
is a shareholder and employment and labor practice area co-chairperson in the Salt Lake City office of Parsons Behle & Latimer. He practices employment law and commercial litigation in matters before state and federal courts, Utah Labor Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition to his active litigation practice, Mr. Tolman also works with employers to help them develop preventative employment practices and policies, and frequently provides in-house training to managers and non-managers alike. He is also the legal affairs director of the Salt Lake Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (Salt Lake SHRM). Mr. Tolman earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, at Weber State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Joanie Winters
is an attorney with Winters Law Firm. She has over 30 years of management, human resources and legal experience. In 2003, Ms. Winters opened her law firm with a focus on labor and employment law. In addition to providing legal guidance to public and private employers, she serves as the county attorney Chester County. Ms. Winters worked as a human resources manager and consultant for more than ten years. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge as an adjunct professor at Winthrop University. Ms. Winters earned her bachelor's degree from Rosemont College and her J.D. degree from University of South Carolina.

Jim Beyer
is an attorney at Axiom, where he focuses his practice on labor and employment law. He is also an adjunct professor of Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and teaches courses on privacy rights in employment law and international employment law. Mr. Beyer earned his bachelor's degree from DePauw University and his J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois.

Layne A. Feldman
is an attorney at Ansell Grimm & Aaron, P.C. in the firm's litigation department. Her practice spans a range of complex commercial and civil litigation matters, including commercial lease disputes, Consumer Fraud Act claims, corporate/shareholder disputes, and secured property actions. Ms. Feldman also has experience in the litigation of products liability and property damage claims, and experience representing condominium associations and cooperatives. She also represents employees and employers in all aspects of employment law. Ms. Feldman holds a J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law where she was a member of the Seton Hall Circuit Review and was a semi-finalist in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Lawrence M. Maron in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division. Ms. Feldman holds a B.A. degree in law & policy and political science from Dickinson College. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York; and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Leah Trahan
is an attorney at Parsons Behle & Latimer, part of the firm's Litigation practice team. She is experienced in a wide variety of practice areas, including Title VII and Title IX defense, administrative proceedings, insurance defense, tribal tax law and employment counseling for both private and government employers. Ms. Trahan's current practice focuses on civil litigation, including employment litigation and Constitutional law. She earned her J.D. degree with high honors from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law. During law school, Ms. Trahan mentored new law students as a member of the school's Academic Success Program and was a Constitutional Law teaching assistant. She is a member of the Montana Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in Montana.
