Know the Personality Types and How to Ferret Out Meaningful Conclusions
It's no secret that most lawyers dislike jury selection. Not knowing what to look for, talking to strangers who don't want to be there, and getting them comfortable and engaged are challenging feats for even the most charismatic of trial attorneys. However, its importance cannot be overstated: trials are often won or lost in jury selection. In this program, join our experienced faculty for an insightful dive into the minds and personalities of jurors. Know what you cannot predict, what you can, and what questions to ask to ferret out bright lines and reliable conclusions. Develop a new understanding and take your jury selection skills to the next level - register today!
- Get to the bottom of group dynamics, predictability in human behavior, and what motivates jurors.
- Learn what conclusions you should and should not draw from different demographic and cultural factors.
- Discover five surefire "types" of jurors and strategies for dealing with them.
- Review superficial questions that many trial lawyers are guilty of asking, and learn what to ask instead.
This program was designed in conjunction with NBI's esteemed 2024-2025 Content Advisory Committee Member Robert J. Kasieta.
