She has broad experience in planned community and condominium law having represented HOAs, homebuilders, developers, and investors. Ms. Martin has extensive experience drafting, amending, and interpreting governing documents, including CC&Rs, bylaws, and rules, as well as acting as general counsel to HOAs related to compliance, insurance, and enforcement matters. She has assisted developers in documenting public improvement district (PID) and municipal utility district (MUD) agreements. Additionally, Ms. Martin has negotiated resolutions to allegations of fair housing violations faced by "housing providers," including in-depth research into the potential disparate impact of rental restrictions in common interest developments.
