Nicholas E. Froning
is an attorney in the law firm of Koblentz & Penvose & Froning, LLC. He practices primarily in the area of ethics and professional responsibility, including law practice management, attorney discipline defense and licensure defense. Mr. Froning regularly presents ethics and professional responsibility seminars to lawyers in Northeast Ohio. He earned his J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Mr. Froning is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Westshore Bar Association and various civic organizations.

Ann Lugbill
is an attorney with Murphy Anderson PLLC, with offices in Cincinnati and Washington, D.C. She focuses on representing employee whistleblowers and plaintiffs in class action litigation. She represents clients in False Claims Act qui tam cases and related statutes involve securities and financial frauds, income tax frauds, automobile safety, consumer insurance, and similar bounty statutes. Past clients include more than 50 qui tam relators and whistleblowers, including Jack Gravitt, a pioneer whistleblower whose experiences form part of the False Claims Act's legislative history. Ms. Lugbill ‘s qui tam cases have resulted in total recoveries exceeding $1 billion, involving health care, pharmaceutical, and procurement fraud, ranging from Air Force bombers to home health care. She was counsel for a whistleblower in the $2.3 billion Pfizer False Claims Act settlement in 2009. More recently, she represented whistleblowers reporting drug safety issues with a diabetes drug, resulting in a $46 million settlement paid by Novo Nordisk, a Danish company. Ms. Lugbill participates in Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF) and the National Employment Lawyers (NELA) Ethics and Sanctions Committee and frequently speaks at TAF and NELA legal conferences. She was a charter member of the Ohio Board for Certification of Specialists in Labor and Employment Law, which certifies legal experts in labor and employment law. An Ohio Employment Lawyers Association officer for many years, she chaired the Cincinnati Bar Association Grievance Committee, authorized by the Ohio Supreme Court to enforce lawyers' professional ethics rules. In her Grievance Committee pro bono work, she successfully argued before the Ohio Supreme Court, resulting in the suspension of an attorney from practice of law who was alleged to have engaged in illegal insider securities trading and who paid a large SEC fine. She co-authored two books: False Claims Act: Whistleblower Litigation and Representing the Terminated Employee in Ohio.

Jennifer S. Roach
is a partner with Thompson Hine, LLP where she is a member of the firm's office of general counsel and co-chair of the Ethics Committee. She routinely advises and consults on ethics issues. Ms. Roach has also prosecuted attorneys on behalf of the Certified Grievance Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association for violation of disciplinary rules. She has over 20 years of experience helping clients resolve complex product distribution and supply chain problems. Ms. Roach's experience includes drafting, negotiating and litigating contractual arrangements among manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and dealers. She works with clients to formulate distribution strategies and draft agreements to meet their needs in the United States and internationally. Ms. Roach also advises clients and provides training on antitrust issues relating to product distribution, including product pricing programs, communications with competitors and customers, and vertical restraints. She is admitted to practice in Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of Ohio, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Sixth circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Roach earned her A.B. degree, cum laude, from Duke University; and her J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
