Marlon A. Primes
is a partner in the Cleveland office of Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC. He is a distinguished former assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Primes has transitioned to serve as co-chair of BMD's business and tort litigation practice, and represents companies across the U.S. in high-stakes litigation. He has handled a wide variety of complex civil litigation in state, federal and appellate courts, including jury trials and appellate actions. Mr. Primes earned his B.S. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Brad M. Kushner
is a shareholder with the law firm of Stevens & Lee in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He concentrates his practice in labor and employment matters. Mr. Kushner defends employers against wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state laws, as well as claims brought under Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and state anti-discrimination laws. He has represented clients in class actions and collective actions in courts across the country. In addition, Mr. Kushner counsels employers on Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) matters and represents employers before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. He is a chapter author for the nationally recognized treatise, Occupational Safety and Health Law, published by the American Bar Association and the Bureau of National Affairs. Mr. Kushner earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Marjorie Obod
is a partner in the Philadelphia office Dilworth Paxson LLP, where she is chair of the Educational Institutions Group and co-chair of the Labor and Employment Group. Ms. Obod dedicates her practice to providing counsel to corporate clients and non-profit organizations in labor, employment, education, and regulatory matters. She handles jury trials in class actions and general litigation cases, including the education and employment and benefits area; wage and hour audits and reviews and litigation; Title VII cases; U.S.C. §1981 cases; the enforcement of restrictive covenants in employment agreements in arbitration and mediation; discrimination claims, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”); and other employers/employee disputes raised by the Department of Labor, and brought in federal and state courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia; and regulatory and litigation proceedings in labor matters. In addition, Ms. Obod represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”) and Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. She earned her B.S. degree from Washington and Jefferson College and her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Emilia Rinaldi
is an attorney in the Pittsburgh office of Leech Tishman. She applies her business economics background to address a variety of labor & employment issues, including wage and hour disputes, workplace harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, and workplace safety/OSHA regulations. Ms. Rinaldi has broad experience litigating labor and employment matters, having been previously employed by two firms where she regularly litigated cases at the state, county, and federal levels. She counsels employers on best practices, assisting them with the development of workplace policies and procedures, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and employment agreements, and ensuring that all conditions of employment meet the legal requirements. Ms. Rinaldi earned her B.A. degree from John Cabot University, her M.A. degree from The University of Iowa and her J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law.

Nelva J. Smith
is a member in the Columbus, Ohio office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. She is known as a fervent advocate for her clients. Ms. Smith is a labor and employment attorney whose wide-ranging experience makes her an extremely effective advisor for her clients. From general day-to-day counseling, to litigation, workers’ compensation, and safety and health issues, employers of all sizes rely on her to guide them through the myriad challenges of labor and employment law. Ms. Smith is diligent and aggressive in defending her clients’ interests and is experienced assisting clients in the automotive, aviation, construction, and manufacturing industries. As a member of the firm’s Workplace Safety Team, she has defended employers in front of the Industrial Commission on a variety of issues that arise out of Ohio workers’ compensation matters, and she also has extensive experience in safety and health issues, with an emphasis on OSHA. Ms. Smith has presented on several occasions nationally on OSHA topics and has twice been a contributing editor to the national treatise on Occupational Safety and Health Law.
