Sebastian Jaramillo
is an attorney at Perlman, Bajandas, Yevoli & Albright, P.L. He is a board-certified specialist in real estate law and is part of the firm's real estate practice group. Mr. Jaramillo focuses his practice in the areas of real estate law, landlord and tenant disputes, commercial and residential closings, and real estate litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he was the head of the real estate divisions of several firms and also managed his own practice for several years. Mr. Jaramillo earned his bachelor's degree in economics, with honors, from Florida International University in 2002; a law degree from the University of Miami in 2005; and a master's degree in tax law from the University of Alabama.

Christopher Sickles
is an attorney at Paul Hastings, LLP. His practice encompasses a variety of transactional real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of commercial assets across the country. Mr. Sickles has represented clients in a wide array of real estate matters across asset phases and classes, including retail, office, mixed use, multifamily residential, industrial, and special uses such as laboratories and senior housing. He has also assisted clients, including investors, lenders, and developers, with redevelopment and other tax credit incentivized projects, including those involving historic and new market tax credits. Mr. Sickles earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Boston College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from William & Mary School of Law.

Valerie Johnston
is an attorney at Perkins Coie LLP. She has experience negotiating hotel management agreements, purchase agreements, loan documents, leases and lease amendments, and construction contracts to facilitate development. Ms. Johnston also provides general business advice to real estate developers and acts as a conduit to connect developers with potential opportunities and sources of projects and capital. She was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2021 and 2022, and co-authored "Show Me the Money: Unique Lending Challenges for Contractors" (2020) for the Construction Financial Management Association. She earned her B.A. degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.

Nathan Fahrer
has successfully closed high-profile purchase, sale, and financing deals for major hospitality properties, with representative clients including the Loews Chicago Hotel, the Washington Marriott Georgetown, and the Miami Dadeland Hotel. He has managed the acquisition and disposition of commercial office buildings, retail shopping centers, and multisite/multistate agricultural properties. He is well-versed in handling the real estate portions of refinancing and acquisitions, including in the forest products and construction industries. Mr. Fahrer also assists high-net-worth clients with buying, selling, and leasing real property across the United States. He represents clients in all aspects of commercial leasing, including general office, retail, and industrial leasing. Mr. Fahrer has worked with high-growth technology and internet clients in drafting and negotiating commercial leases for properties nationwide, including in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Austin and Washington, D.C. He earned B.A. degree, summa cum laude, Washington State University, his M.B.A. degree from Wharton School and his J.D. degree University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

Howard B. Goldman
is a partner at Plunkett Cooney, PC. He is a partner in the firm's business transactions and planning practice group who takes an advisory and proactive approach to understanding his clients' operations and industries in order to enhance profitability and increase business. For over 35 years, Mr. Goldman has focused his practice on negotiating and representing borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants in all aspects of real estate transactions. He handles finance, sale-leaseback and commercial lease and build to suit transactions, and he assists with the purchase and financing of commercial properties and the creation and renovation of corporate campuses and relocations. Mr. Goldman also negotiated with lenders regarding COVID-19 and its impact on hospitality and retail properties, and he handles real estate matters on behalf of cannabis industry clients. He earned his B.B.A. degree, cum laude, Loyola University Chicago and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from University of Illinois College of Law.

Brian Fischer
is with THD Design Group, and has more than 30 years of experience in the survey field performing a variety of survey types for residential, municipal, commercial, industrial and government agency clients. He has experience in survey instrumentation and computer aided drafting (CAD) programs, as well as office and survey programs such as Trimble Office, Carlson and Civil 3D. Mr. Fischer's management experience includes overseeing drafting and field crews, as well as a branch office for an oil and gas services firm in southeast Texas. He holds professional land surveyors licenses in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Mississippi, Kansas, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, and Texas.

Jonathan August
is Special Counsel at Buchalter. He has experience in all aspects of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leases. In connection with these transactions, Mr. August represents major financial institutions, borrowers, developers, landlords, and tenants. Mr. August assists clients with acquiring and selling commercial real estate, from office buildings and industrial warehouses to multifamily housing projects. His practice focuses on drafting and negotiating complex purchase agreements and development disposition agreements, along with the review and resolution of difficult survey and title matters. A significant portion of Mr. August's practice centers on counseling landlords and tenants regarding commercial, retail, and industrial leases. Whether the lease is for a multi-floor office in a major metropolitan area with a complex buildout or the first brick-and-mortar location for a new business or restaurant, Mr. August has significant experience in navigating these complicated matters efficiently to meet the goals of his clients. In addition, Mr. August has an extensive background in representing financial institutions and borrowers in the drafting and negotiating of term and construction loan financing documentation, along with managing workouts for distressed facilities. Mr. August has also represented servicers of securitized financial assets, handling new loan originations along with loan assumptions, dispositions, and equity transfers for loans already securitized. Due to the time-sensitive nature of many financing transactions and workouts, Mr. August's focus is on ensuring timely closings for his clients, whether it is for new credit facilities or existing loans. Mr. August earned his J.D. cum laude from The University of California College of the Law, San Francisco and his B.A. in Economics-Philosophy from Columbia University.
