Speaker bio
David V. Humphrey, Jr.
is a partner in the Rancho Mirage firm of Cosgrove, Cosgrove & Humphrey, Attorneys at Law. He is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate, as certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Humphrey's extensive experience in trusts, probates, estates, and conservatorships ranges from estate planning for estates of all sizes: from small estates to complex trust and estate litigation for estates in excess of $50 to $100 million. His representation has also included representation of trusts and estates for certain deceased entertainment industry professionals and personalities. Mr. Humphrey is on the Riverside County court-appointed counsel specialist list for trust, estate, and conservatorship matters. He is a member of the Desert Bar Association and is the current president of the Desert Estate Planning Council. Mr. Humphrey earned his B.A. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is licensed to practice in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western federal districts of California; and the State of California superior courts.

Bryan L. Phipps
is an attorney at Phipps Law Group, Ltd., where he focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, conservatorships and related litigation. His memberships include the Sacramento County Bar Association, Sacramento Estate Planning Council and El Dorado County Bar Association, where he serves as chair of the Trusts & Estates Section. Mr. Phipps is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark School of Law.

Jeremy J. Ofseyer
is an attorney in Palm Desert and certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. His practice focuses on estate planning, trust administration, and probate court proceedings involving trusts, estates, and conservatorships. Mr. Ofseyer has taught wills and trusts and estate planning as an adjunct professor at the University of La Verne College of Law since 2009. He has served as a volunteer for the Standing Committee on Ethics of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California, and has taught ethics at Harvard, N.Y.U., U.N.C., and U.C.L.A. Mr. Ofseyer is a graduate of the Harvard Law School, magna cum laude.

Christopher L. Cauble
is the managing partner in the firm of Cauble, Furr & Beguin, LLP in Grants Pass, Oregon, practicing in the area of probate and trust litigation, including litigating claims, money that has been stolen by PR's or fiduciaries, defending or prosecuting will contests, and elder abuse litigation. Mr. Cauble also deals with all estate and probate related tax issues. He is admitted to practice in Oregon and before the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court District of Oregon, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Cauble earned his B.A. degree from Willamette University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is also a member of Oregon State Bar Board of Governors from 2020-2024.
