Speaker bio
Andrew Kazin
is Co-Chair of Bronster LLP's Litigation Department and focuses on business litigation, including partnership disputes, securities, employment, environmental, and real estate. He also provides corporate guidance and acts as General Counsel to corporate entities. He has tried jury, bench and arbitration matters to verdict and judgment and represents clients before the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of New York, District of Connecticut, New York Supreme Court, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Mr. Kazin is a member of the New York City Bar Association's Litigation, European Affairs and and UCC and Commercial Law Committees, the New York State Bar Association's Commercial and Federal Litigation Section and the International Bar Association's Litigation, Banking Law and Anti-Corruption Committees. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Council's American Inn of Court for the Second Circuit. Mr. Kazin has been selected every year as a Super Lawyer from 2016 to the present and has an AV Review rating from Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Kazin is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. During law school, he clerked for Frank J. Scardilli, Chief Circuit Mediator at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Department of Defense at the Pentagon. He was an adjunct professor of law at Hofstra University School of Law where he taught fundamental lawyering skills. He also lectures for the New York State Bar Association on judgment enforcement. Mr. Kazin is also a member of the Federal Bar Council's Small Firm Pro Bono Sub-Committee and performs pro bono work for immigrant families and Kids In Need of Defense ("KIND").

Mark D. Kimball
is the founding shareholder of MDK Law, a firm emphasizing corporate, commercial and property law, and consulting in matters involving federal and international taxation. He is admitted to practice in Washington, New York, Texas and Oregon. Mr. Kimball is an adjunct professor of law at Eotvos Lorand and Masaryk Universities in Europe, and has served as a law school guest lecturer at Seattle University School of Law. He is also engaged as an expert witness in superior court cases involving limited liability companies, governance, and other member issues. Mr. Kimball has been admitted to the Second Circuit Bar (New York, Connecticut and Vermont), Fifth Circuit Bar (Texas and Louisiana), and the Oregon State Bar. He earned his J.D. degree and LL.M. (taxation) degree from the University of Washington School of Law, and also holds an LL.M. degree in transnational commercial practice from Europe.

Steven A. Horowitz
is a founding partner at Horowitz & Rubenstein, LLC, a law firm specializing in taxation. He is a person who embraces change and always finds a way when others say it is not possible. Mr. Horowitz is a man who has been instrumental in arguing several issues that have become law. He is very philanthropic and enjoys helping and educating others. This is why Mr. Horowitz served as a special professor of estate planning, estate and gift tax, and partnership tax law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University for eight years in a row. As a professional speaker, he is able to share ideas with larger audiences. Mr. Horowitz is also a multi-award winner, a nationally published author (with nearly 100 nationally published articles), and has volunteered on many not-for-profit boards. He earned his bachelor's degree from Hofstra University, his J.D. degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and his M.B.A. degree from Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
