Speaker bio
Joshua C. Offenhartz
is an attorney with Kahana Feld. He is a business attorney who represents clients in the finance, medical, construction, real estate and culinary industries. Mr. Offenhartz has significant experience managing all phases of litigation, including preliminary investigations, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, motions for summary judgment, trial and appeals. Additionally, he serves as outside counsel for several small, medium and growing businesses that need day-to-day legal advice for their growing companies. Mr. Offenhartz is a member of Madison School District's Financial Advisory Board and a board member of the Desert States Region of Jewish National Fund. He supports the Phoenix Art Museum as a member of the Men's Art Council, and helps others by volunteering with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Arizona, Saint Mary's Food Bank and the Wounded Warrior Project. Mr. Offenhartz earned his B.S. degree in public administration from the University of Arizona, and his master's and J.D. degrees from Arizona State University. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona; Southern District Court, District of Arizona; and Southern Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

J. Wesley Hisaw
is a shareholder with Holland & Hisaw, where his practice areas include domestic law, personal injury, product liability, corporate law, civil rights lawsuits, estate law, and employment law. He was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 litigation lawyers for the state of Mississippi by the American Society of Legal Advocates and the National Trial Lawyer's Association. Mr. Hisaw was also named a Top Ten Attorney for the state of Mississippi in the area of personal injury by the National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys, and listed as a Premier 100 Attorney by the American Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Sixth circuits, Northern and Southern districts of Mississippi, and the Western District of Tennessee. Mr. Hisaw is also listed as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers. He earned his undergraduate degree and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi.

Mehak Ahmed
is a defense litigation attorney licensed to practice in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. Her practice focuses primarily on motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dram shop, intentional torts, dog bites, personal injury, first-party claims, contract disputes, construction defects, corporate and business laws, and other complex legal matters. Ms. Ahmed handles a wide range of litigation in both state and federal courts and has experience representing a diverse array of clients, including individuals, national insurance carriers, family-owned businesses, and large corporations in industries such as trucking, agriculture, consumer products, tire manufacturing, retail, hospitality, technology, health, fitness, and construction. She has successfully defended numerous clients and is consistently recognized for her exceptional customer service. Ms. Ahmed earned her B.A. degree from the University of Houston, Texas and her J.D. degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan.

Daniel Torrens
is an attorney with Rusing Lopez & Lizardi, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and commercial litigation. Mr. Torrens lectures nationally in the areas of contracts, personal injury, and trial advocacy. He is a faculty member of the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy and a graduate of the State Bar of Arizona's CLE Institute. Mr. Torrens is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Colorado Bar Association. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a judge pro tem with the Maricopa County Superior Court. Mr. Torrens earned his B.A. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska.
