is a partner and co-chair of Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP's labor and employment law practice group, and a member of the firm's employee benefits and litigation groups. He is counsel to manufacturing, service, commercial and management companies, professional practices, non-profit organizations, private educational institutions and insurance companies. Mr. Farrell regularly practices before the National Labor Relations Board, federal and state courts, and federal and state human rights' agencies. He counsels employers on a variety of labor and employment-related laws including the NLRA, OSHA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA and ERISA. Mr. Farrell also litigates in these areas. He earned his J.D. degree from Hofstra University's School of Law and his B.A. degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, independent investigations, and municipal law with an emphasis on contracts, employment, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, business disputes, and land use and other real estate disputes. is a partner in Verrill Dana LLP's Labor and Employment group. He regularly conducts workplace investigations, advises clients on employment law and human resources compliance issues, and defends companies accused of discrimination or harassment based upon disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, whistleblower retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Additionally, Mr. Peters has successfully represented many individuals who were the victims of discrimination. A significant part of his practice involves conducting workplace investigations. In conjunction with this, Mr. Peters has successfully completed the Association of Workplace Investigators' Training Institute, which teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to perform impartial workplace investigations. He also regularly conducts anti-harassment training for his management side clients and for other attorneys.

is a solo practitioner and general counsel for Infinite Health Services, LLC. His expertise lies in labor and employment law matters, business transactions and agency practice. Mr. Twing is also a writer and speaker on labor and employment issues, and hosts a labor and employment seminar annually at Wayland Baptist University. He represented Lubbock District Court Judge, Bradley Underwood in a civil action by a former court coordinator who alleged sexual harassment and retaliatory discharge. The resulting opinion of this case clarified legal standards regarding the statutory definition of "complaint" for purposes of the Labor Code's limitations provisions. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, as well as the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Twing is admitted to practice in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. He earned his undergraduate degree from West Texas State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

His litigation practice involves representing employers in various aspects of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, wage and hour violations, trade secret protection, and various administrative proceedings. While in law school, Mr. Rasmussen participated in the Los Angeles Family Law Clinic and served as the managing editor of the Loyola International and Comparative Law Review. He is also the co-founder of the non-profit foundation "Heartbeats for Tom Rasmussen", which donates automatic external defibrillators to local schools and sports facilities and is active with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Mr. Rasmussen earned his B.A. degree from the University of California and his J.D. degree from the Loyola Law School.

is an attorney with Frost Brown Todd LLP in the labor and employment practice group. He previously worked as a legal intern for the Missouri State Public Defender's System Children's Defense Team, as well as an extern for AB InBev and the Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. While in these roles he drafted motions to suppress statements and evidence, cross-examinations of witnesses, memorandums analyzing Missouri State legal issues, and provided guidance on several global labor and employment issues. Mr. Schubert also devised trial strategies and assessed potential counter arguments to attorney case theories. He graduated, cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he served as the career programming chair for the American Constitution Society and editor-in-chief for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. Mr. Schubert is admitted to practice in Ohio.

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
