Gary W. Boyle
is the founder of Boyle and Freudenheim in Santa Fe, where his practice is focused in corporate law, family law and litigation. He currently serves as the virtual general counsel for ADL High Voltage, Inc. (Texas), EnergyComNetwork, Inc. d/b/a PayGo Utilities (Georgia), and Flask, Inc. (New Mexico). Mr. Boyle maintains an active litigation practice in New Mexico emphasizing family law. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, and in various federal courts including the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Boyle earned his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

Laura E. Sanchez
is an attorney in the Albuquerque office of Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin, & Robb, P.A. with the Business Department. Her practice focuses on bonds, public finance, economic development, real estate, energy matters, legislation/government affairs, and infrastructure funding. Ms. Sanchez brings a wealth of legal expertise along with a diverse background beyond the legal field. She is an accomplished attorney with over 20 years of legal experience and more than 25 years of expertise in government and legislative affairs. As a former executive director for Government & Public Affairs, Ms. Sanchez served as the senior advisor on public policy and research to top executives, playing a crucial role in formulating and implementing policy strategies. She excels in identifying public policy priorities and developing impactful programs while engaging with key stakeholders. Prior to joining Rodey Law Firm, Ms. Sanchez served as senior director for government relations and regulatory counsel at a leading financial technology firm, where she managed government relationships and public policy advocacy with federal and state agencies. She was also a partner at a prominent law firm in Albuquerque, focusing on government clients, business and regulatory matters. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sanchez worked as a staff attorney at a well-known environmental advocacy organization, concentrating on regulatory issues and renewable energy initiatives. She has extensive experience in advising on and applying for federal infrastructure grants and loans. Ms. Sanchez's commitment and diligence resulted in her project being awarded a $35.6 million grant from the Department of Energy through the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act's Grid Resilience Innovation Partnerships program. She earned her B.A. and M.P.A. degrees from The University of Arizona, Tucson, and her J.D. degree from UCLA School of Law, Los Angeles.

Seth Gardenswartz
is a partner with Blackgarden Law. He began his career in his family's sporting goods business, an 80-year multi-generational enterprise that ultimately expanded from Colorado to New Mexico and Texas. When the business was sold in 1995, Mr. Gardenswartz brought his experience and passion for technology and marketing to the practice of law. During law school, he wrote for SMU Law's International Journal and his paper, The Risk of Loss in Electronic Transactions, was published in the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. Mr. Gardenswartz graduated, cum laude, from SMU Law School. His specialties include trademarks, craft breweries, contracts, payment systems, e-commerce, digital media and general business management. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gardenswartz is co-developer of a tech-flex office building in downtown Albuquerque and co-owner of Surefi, an ad-tech company that combines proximity marketing with media targeting for mid-sized and regional brands in the craft beverage industry. He has represented and advised entrepreneurs on branding-related legal issues for over 15 years.

Candice Owens
is a partner with Blackgarden Law PC. She is a corporate and securities attorney specializing in entity formation, corporate governance, contracts, capital raising, asset transfers, and corporate restructuring. Ms. Owens is a native of Northern California. She graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was senior articles editor for the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal. Ms. Owens earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego. She was the founder of The Owens Law Firm, P.C., a dedicated corporate and business law practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Owens was an attorney and partner at Sommer, Udall, Sutin, Hardwick & Hyatt, P.A. in Santa Fe. In California, she worked at Cooley LLP (Palo Alto) in the corporate securities group. In between law careers, Ms. Owens owned a boutique in downtown Santa Fe called "Miss Maybe". Before co-founding Blackgarden Law, she was a partner at Leverage Legal Group, a multi-office virtual law firm.

James A. Hochman
is a partner with the Chicago firm of Schain Banks Kenny & Schwartz, Ltd., where he represents commercial real estate brokerage firms, landlords, tenants, and commercial real estate investors, assisting in all phases of commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Hochman is a frequent speaker on real estate broker-related legal issues for state and local estate organizations. He co-wrote and sponsored the Illinois Commercial Real Estate Broker Lien Act; and through his drafting and lobbying efforts, several other states have adopted similar statutes. Mr. Hochman is also active in support of license portability legislation for commercial real estate brokers, and is the architect and drafter of statutes in several estates on that issue as well. He earned his A.B. degree from Brown University and his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law.
