Blake A. Shuart
is an attorney with Hutton & Hutton Law Firm, where he is a trial lawyer who enjoys the challenge of handling difficult and complex cases. He has spent over a decade litigating all types of tort cases in courtrooms across the country. Mr. Shuart has successfully represented injured victims in cases arising out of car wrecks, semi-truck collisions, medical or hospital malpractice, defective products, dangerous drugs/mass torts, slip & falls, day care negligence, nursing home negligence, dog bites, shootings and assaults, aviation disasters, security breaches, sidewalk defects, veterinarian malpractice, ATV & go kart crashes, life insurance disputes and other first-party insurance cases, pharmacy filling errors, aviation premises liability, and others. He has passed bar examinations in Kansas, Florida, New Jersey and Illinois and he maintains active licensure in all four states. Mr. Shuart graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. degree from the University of Kansas and earned his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law.

Matthew M. Dwyer
is an attorney at Hutton & Hutton Law Firm. Before joining the firm, Mr. Dwyer was an Assistant District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District of Sedgwick County, Kansas for over a decade. During his tenure, he prosecuted felony cases ranging from Attempted Capital Murder and First-Degree Murder to the Manufacturing and Distribution of illegal narcotics. Mr. Dwyer worked closely with multi-agency law enforcement teams to prosecute gang activity, large-scale burglary and theft operations, and complex criminal organizations. He also litigated civil asset forfeiture cases, assisted with search warrants and wire intercepts, and handled immigration-related issues in felony prosecutions. As a civil trial lawyer, Mr. Dwyer brings the same dedication he once applied to criminal prosecutions to advocating for victims of negligence, catastrophic injury, and civil rights violations. Shortly after joining the firm, he was appointed co-lead counsel in the national opioid litigation on behalf of the City of Wichita, which resulted in a multi-million dollar recovery for the city and local community. Mr. Dwyer has successfully litigated cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, surgical errors, amputations, optometry malpractice, dental malpractice, pharmaceutical products, nursing home negligence, school liability, harassment and bullying claims, security breaches, §1983 claims, civil rights violations, sexual abuse of minors, sexual abuse of prisoners, elder sexual abuse, car wrecks, train collisions, semi-truck collisions, the Kansas Tort Claims Act, the Federal Tort Claims Act, and the Military Claims Act. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Kansas and is admitted to practice law in Kansas.
