Speaker bio
Quentin F. Smith
is a shareholder/director in the law firm of Stelzner, Winter, Warburton, Flores & Dawes, P.A., where he focuses his practice on employment and labor law, and general civil litigation. Mr. Smith has successfully defended employers against a wide variety of lawsuits, such as discrimination and sexual harassment claims, retaliatory discharge claims, breach-of-contract claims, and whistleblower claims. Mr. Smith is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, the State Bar of Texas, the Albuquerque and American bar associations, the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is admitted to practice in New Mexico and Texas, and before the U.S. District Court, District of New Mexico; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. Mr. Smith earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University; and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Elizabeth A. Heaphy
is a shareholder with RMH Lawyers, PA. Her litigation practice encompasses disputes arising in a variety of contexts, including commercial contracts, employment, and business associations. Ms. Heaphy also works on transactional matters, such as drafting and negotiating contracts. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Michigan, her M.A. degree from University of Chicago and her J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law. Ms. Heaphy is admitted to practice law in New Mexico, New York, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. She was formerly chair of New Mexico Supreme Court Committee on Uniform Jury Instructions for Civil Cases.
