Overview

Demonstrate the Effects of Mental Disability and Strengthen Claims

Mental impairment, whether as a claim of its own or an augment to a physical disability claim, presents a unique set of challenges for claimants and disability representatives. Mental health access is scarce, and claimants are often reluctant to reveal cognitive and personality disorders. And yet, with claim approval rates steadily dropping, claimants today need every scrap of evidence to support their claims. Add specialized skills to your tool set - register today!

  • Get an update on mental impairment listing(s) and learn to determine which one(s) to pursue.
  • Troubleshoot gaps in medical histories.
  • Explore critical sources of mental disability claim-supporting documentation.
  • Improve your pre-hearing briefs.
  • Explore new ways to show the severity of the disability and its effect on daily functions.
  • Get tools for supporting the claim when the impairment does not equal a listing.
  • Come up with ways to counter vocational expert testimony unique to mental impairment claims.
