David M. Potteiger
is a partner in the law firm of Walcheske & Luzi, LLC. Practicing since 2007, Mr. Potteiger has built his reputation as an impassioned and zealous advocate, which he displays in both his trial and appellate practice. He is a frequent author and speaker on litigation topics. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. degree from Golden Gate University School of Law.

Alec J. Beck
is a partner with Parker Daniels Kibort, where he specializes in employment law and litigation, labor relations, human resource consulting, workers' compensation and disability case management, trial work, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Beck is certified as a labor and employment law specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute, and is general counsel and board member (2008 to present) of the Minnesota Society for Human Resource Management (MNSHRM). Mr. Beck earned his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. degree (executive editor of the William Mitchell Law Review) from William Mitchell College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and North Dakota; and before the United States Supreme Court; United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth circuits; and the United States District Court for the districts of Minnesota, Southern Iowa, North Dakota, and Eastern and Western Wisconsin.

Robert J. Simandl
is a shareholder and chair of the labor and employment section at the law firm of von Briesen & Roper, s.c. He has over 30 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of employee benefit, labor and employment law issues. Mr. Simandl counsels employers on all aspects of workplace compliance including hiring, disciplining and terminating employees, accommodation obligations, wage and hour issues, affirmative action, discrimination complaints, non-competition agreements, and employee handbook design and development. He has represented employers before the federal district courts, National Labor Relations Board, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and a number of administrative agencies and tribunals, including the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, Wisconsin Equal Rights Division and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Simandl earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and his J.D. degree from Marquette University. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

is a partner with the Madison law firm of Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs, LLP, where he practices in employment law, civil rights, professional malpractice, personal injury, products liability and lender liability. Mr. Kinne earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, Wisconsin Association for Justice (chair, Civil Rights Committee), and American Bar Association.

Courtney E. Ward-Reichard
is an attorney with the law firm of Nilan Johnson Lewis PA in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a veteran litigator who helps corporate clients avoid and defend high-profile national claims in employment, product liability, and commercial litigation matters. Ms. Ward-Reichard also spends time providing local trial counsel services. Licensed in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin; and she routinely supports attorneys, cases, and clients in all three states. In addition to her client and trial work, she serves as knowledge management and information research counsel for the firm. This internal-facing role utilizes her extensive skills in knowledge management, technology, factual and legal research, and eDiscovery, bringing efficiency, speed and cost-savings to what’s often the most expensive part of litigation. She earned her B.A. degree from Concordia College and her J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

Ashley R. Thronson
is a shareholder in the law firm of Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She represents clients in employment, labor, and business-tort litigation. Ms. Thronson also assists employers with legal compliance and issues related to employment contracts. Her practice focuses on employment law and litigation, as well as business torts and contract issues stemming from employment and shareholder relationships. Ms. Thronson has experience representing both businesses and individuals and has litigated a wide variety of workplace issues, including wage and hour disputes; harassment, discrimination and whistleblower issues; misappropriation of confidential information; and breaches of employment-related contracts and fiduciary duties. She has advocated for her clients in state and federal court, in front of administrative agencies, and at alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Ms. Thronson earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse and her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Minnesota Women Lawyers; and his admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
