Katherine Brustowicz
is an attorney at The Wagner Law Group. Her focus is in the practice areas of employment law, human resources, and civil litigation. Ms. Brustowicz's practice includes drafting employment-related policies and agreements, conducting employee and management training, and representing employers during audits. She also handles litigation in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and in mediation and arbitration regarding issues arising out of the employer-employee relationship including, but not limited to those involving wage and overtime disputes, employment-related contracts, compliance, discrimination, and harassment. Ms. Brustowicz earned her B.A. degree from Bates College and her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.

Hannah Wurgaft
is an associate at Brann & Isaacson. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, municipal law, and litigation. Ms. Wurgaft provides advice to employers on day-to-day workplace issues and represents employers before the Maine Human Rights Commission, and in state and federal court. She also counsels school districts on student matters before the Department of Education and the Office of Civil Rights, and handles special education due process proceedings and complaint investigations. As a trained and certified Title IX investigator through ATIXA, Ms. Wurgaft is well-equipped to supervise and perform Title IX investigations. She earned her B.A. degree from Bowdoin College and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from University of Maine School of Law.

is the founder of Cann Law, P.C. As an experienced business professional and attorney with a diverse background, she specializes in providing comprehensive legal solutions to organizations and individuals. With a sharp focus on legal compliance, problem resolution, and risk management, Ms. Cann's expertise spans employment law, OSHA and safety, and business law, as well as effective representation at the agency level, in mediation, and in court. She is licensed to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine; and is a certified data privacy attorney with a foundation in cybersecurity and AI. Formerly of counsel at McLane Middleton, P.A., Ms. Cann established her own practice to better serve clients with personalized, effective legal strategies. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Women's Bar Association, Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), International Association of Privacy Professionals and (ISC)2, an International Cyber Security Professional Association. Henry Norwood
is an attorney with Kaufman Dolowich LLP and concentrates his practice in ERISA litigation and compliance, general liability, commercial litigation, employment law, and managed care. Mr. Norwood represents clients in a wide range of managed care health litigation and compliance, including hospital liability defense, nursing home defense, commercial health disputes, HIPAA, and healthcare organizational issues. Mr. Norwood provides pro bono legal representation to refugees fleeing persecution and seeking asylum in the United States. He is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts, Florida, and California. Mr. Norwood earned his B.A. degree from University of Maine and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.

Edward S. Bertrand
is a partner with Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP. His practice focuses on the defense of asbestos, toxic tort, and products liability actions. Mr. Bertrand primarily assists in the nationwide defense of an equipment manufacturer in asbestos litigation. His work involves all phases of litigation, from work with expert witnesses and deposition attendance, to preparation of dispositive motions and trial preparation. As a law student, Mr. Bertrand worked as a law clerk at two Boston general practice litigation firms, for a judge in Suffolk Superior Court, and for the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition in New York City. Prior to joining Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP, Mr. Bertrand earned a fellowship with a professor at Northeastern University School of Law where he studied the public financing of private sports stadiums. He earned his A.B. degree, cum laude, from Bowdoin College; and J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law. He is admitted in Massachusetts and Maine.

Erik Peters
is a partner with Verrill Dana LLP. He is an experienced and highly skilled employment lawyer. He regularly conducts workplace investigations, advises clients on employment law and human resources compliance issues, and defends companies accused of discrimination or harassment based upon disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, whistleblower retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Additionally, Mr. Peters has successfully represented many individuals who were the victims of discrimination. A significant part of his practice involves conducting workplace investigations. In conjunction with this, Mr. Peters successfully completed the Association of Workplace Investigators' Training Institute, which teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to perform impartial workplace investigations. He also regularly conducts anti-harassment training for his management side clients and for other attorneys. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Peters has represented individuals, businesses and municipalities on thousands of claims and lawsuits involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, construction defects, property disputes and subrogation. He has also represented businesses of all sizes in disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty allegations and shareholder issues. Mr. Peters earned his B.A. degree from University of Virginia and J.D. degree from University of Houston Law Center.
