Jared Buker

is an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, where he focuses his practice on workers' compensation, employment, labor, and administrative law. He counsels clients ranging from small businesses to national and international companies on issues involving workplace injuries, labor disputes, company policy, retaliation claims, intentional torts, FMLA, Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA, and Fair Labor Standards Act. When working with a client, Mr. Buker starts by gaining an understanding of their business, including their short- and long-term goals, and he uses this information to craft a legal strategy that meets the client's short- and long-term needs. His experience includes practicing in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies like the Ohio Industrial Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Department of Labor,  National Labor Relations Board and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Youngstown State University and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Capital University Law School. While in law school, Mr. Buker was the executive articles editor of the Capital University Law Review, Volume 43, and recipient of the Dean's Excellence Award in 2013. He is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus bar associations, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.

Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives a special discount off of their total tuition.
When will the OnDemand be available and how long will I have access to the content?
The OnDemand Video will be available to stream within 14 days of live broadcast date. You will have access to the content for 6 months in your account. If you’re a subscriber, you’ll have access to your course recordings until 7 days after the expiration date of the subscription.
