Mark S. Kardos
is the principal in the Law Offices of Kardos & Goch, where he has litigated personal injury cases in Philadelphia for more than 42 years, with several verdicts published in the Pennsylvania Jury Reporter and The Verdict, a publication of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. Mr. Kardos earned his B.S. degree from Millersville University and his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore Law School.

Ida L. Williamson
is a Paralegal Specialist for the law firm of Cozen O'Connor, where she specializes in litigation, trial practice, insurance defense, personal injury, premises and product liability with emphasis on discovery, medical record review, research, mediation, and trial practice. Ms. Williamson conducts medical research, legal and factual research, investigations, and client interviews. She also prepares medical chronologies, deposition summaries, pleadings, memoranda, witness and exhibit lists, digital and hard copy trial exhibits, and trial notebooks, as well as attending trial. Ms. Williamson attended Broward College in Fort Lauderdale.

Laurie E. Martin
is a partner with Hoover Hull Turner LLP. She practices in the areas of business litigation, employment litigation and consulting, and ERISA litigation. Ms. Martin advises and defends employers facing claims, including employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, blacklisting or defamation, wage and hour disputes, enforcement of covenants not to compete, ERISA and benefit litigation and trade secret misappropriation; including representation in actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and local agencies, and federal and state courts. She also represents large and small businesses, insurers, ERISA plans, health care providers and individuals in commercial disputes, including contract enforcement and interpretation, and business torts, including breach of fiduciary duty and fraud. Ms. Martin earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Butler University and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Larry J. McKinney in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Ms. Martin is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to her areas of practice. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association Labor and Employment Section. Ms. Martin is a member of the American, Seventh Circuit, Indiana State and Indianapolis bar associations.

Bradley D. Honnold
is a partner with the Leawood law firm of Goza & Honnold, LLC, where his focus is on medical negligence, pharmaceutical, and medical device litigation. Mr. Honnold has spoken at various CLE events on medical negligence issues. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Honnold earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Iowa and his J.D. degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.

Elizabeth A. Underwood
is a shareholder in the Health Care Department at Marshall Dennehey, P.C., where she focuses her practice in the areas of medical and dental malpractice, with a secondary focus on premises and product liability cases. She also handles large-scale personal injury claims arising from construction accidents. Ms. Underwood has represented a large number of doctors, dentists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners and nurses in a multitude of malpractice actions. She has also represented clients in construction liability cases involving the representation of general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects and surveyors; premises liability cases involving the representation of commercial shopping centers, corporate centers, health care offices, etc.; and product liability cases with respect to the representation of manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers. Ms. Underwood graduated cum laude from The George Washington University School of Law. She was awarded the American Bar Association/Bureau of National Affairs Award. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated cum laude and with distinction in her major of International Relations.
