Michael R. Luchsinger
is a shareholder in the Chicago office of Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney. He has extensive experience overseeing labor and employment matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Illinois Wage Payment and Collections Act and the Biometric Information Privacy Act. Mr. Luchsinger regularly appears before the Equal Employment Rights Opportunity Commission, Illinois Department of Human Rights, Illinois Human Rights Commission, Illinois Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board and Illinois state and federal courts. In addition, he has deep trial experience defending clients in catastrophic cases alleging construction, trucking and motor vehicle negligence. Mr. Luchsinger earned his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois - Chicago. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Bradley S. Lohsl
concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law and commercial & business litigation. Brad is a trusted advisor and advocate, providing expert legal counsel and representation to clients navigating complex employment and commercial matters. With extensive experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks, Brad offers valuable guidance on best practices and policies, employee agreements, and workforce reductions. His comprehensive approach ensures that businesses stay compliant while minimizing exposure to potential legal challenges. Brad represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as before key administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. He is well-versed in representing clients in matters related to retaliatory discharge, discrimination, trade secrets, employment agreements, including restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, breach of contracts, and violations of the Illinois Whistleblower Act.

Jim Beyer
has been a labor and employment lawyer for over 30 years, working with AmLaw 100 firms and leading global labor and employment teams for large multinational corporations. After graduating with highest honors (12th in his class) from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law, he clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois before joining Seyfarth Shaw, one of the country's top labor and employment law firms. Following his tenure at Seyfarth, Mr. Beyer practiced with Gardner, Carton & Douglas (now Faegre Drinker). He then began his in-house legal career at IBM. In 1998, Mr. Beyer was hired as the first labor and employment lawyer at Accenture (then Andersen Consulting), where he managed all labor and employment law issues, and guiding Accenture from a private partnership through an IPO to become publicly traded on the NYSE. During his tenure, the Accenture employment law team grew to 18 lawyers globally and achieved a 100% employee engagement score. Mr. Beyer was named the Accenture North American Legal Mentor of the year in 2010. He also led the award-winning legal corporate citizenship program at Accenture. Mr. Beyer rejoined Seyfarth Shaw in 2011 as senior counsel. In 2014, he joined General Electric's labor and employment law team and received the First Chair Award for Top Employment Counsel in 2015. In 2017, Mr. Beyer was hired as the Global Head of Employment Law and Immigration at Infosys, a Fortune 500 corporation where he led a team of 20 employment lawyers worldwide. In 2020, he took a leave from full-time legal practice to pursue his longtime dream of writing a legal fiction novel. Mr. Beyer resumed his full-time legal practice in 2023, joining Axiom Global and working as a contractor for Hilton. He is a frequent speaker and writer on labor and employment topics both in the United States and internationally. Mr. Beyer was named as a fellow in the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2006 and has been an adjunct professor of law at IIT Chicago Kent College of Law since 2004, teaching courses in Privacy Rights and Employment Law and International Employment Law. He has served on the board of several pro bono legal organizations, and is currently on the Alumni Board of Directors for IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Mr. Beyer also is a pro bono legal volunteer for Administer Justice. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with current practitioners and the next generation of employment lawyers.

Allison N. Powers
is a partner in the Chicago office of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP. She is devoted to guiding management through the spectrum of workplace challenges and to advocating with zeal when agency actions or litigation loom. In devising custom solutions for clients, Ms. Powers capitalizes on 15 years as an employment litigator, trial attorney, and strategic partner, plus a unique set of soft skills that have made her indispensable to clients navigating high-profile matters requiring discernment and discretion. She serves as employment counsel to BFKN in her role as Associate General Counsel, Employment. Ms. Powers also leads the training subcommittee of the firm's DEI Committee. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, California, Missouri and New York. Ms. Powers earned her B.A. degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law. She is a member of the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Black Women Lawyers Association of Greater Chicago.

E. Jason Tremblay
is a partner in the Chicago office of Saul Ewing LLP. He is a business attorney and litigator who advises companies in a wide range of industries on employment law and commercial matters. Mr. Tremblay's experience in employment matters includes counseling; negotiation and litigation on issues critical to the evolving workplace including wage and hour disputes; restrictive covenant matters; and federal, state and local statutory claims. He also provides his clients with an array of services including drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements and responding to governmental audits and investigations. In the commercial area, Mr. Tremblay handles a broad range of complex business and tort litigation matters, including matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, interference with contract, and shareholder disputes. He earned his B.A. degree from Franklin and Marshall College and his J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Mr. Tremblay is a member of the Small Business Advocacy Council and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Lucy Bednarek
is of counsel in the Chicago office of Littler Mendelson P.C. She is an experienced litigation attorney with extensive jury trial experience in state and federal court. Ms. Bednarek defends employers in all areas of employment law including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, disability discrimination and accommodation, family and medical leave, whistleblower, equal pay, wage and hour, defamation, breach of contract, and military service. She defends claims involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Pay Act (EPA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Section 1981, and state laws. Ms. Bednarek also defends employers before state and federal administrative agencies, including the EEOC, Illinois Human Rights Commission,Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and Indiana Department of Labor. She earned her B.A. degree from Loyola University Chicago and her J.D. degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Ms. Bednarek is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IADTC), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Illinois State Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.

is a senior associate attorney at Duane Morris LLP. She practices in the area of employment and labor law with a focus on class action defense litigation. Ms. Alberty earned her B.A. degree from the University of New Mexico, her J.D. degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and her master's degree from Webster University. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Colorado, Washington, D.C., and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.
